Daniel T. Cotton, was born and raised in Spencer, Iowa. Following high school, he attended and graduated from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in business management.
Daniel completed his education in prosthetics while attending the Newington Certificate Program in Newington, Connecticut. He completed his residency in Kansas City with NovaCare/Hanger Orthopedics, and became an ABC-certified practitioner of prosthetics and orthotics.
After years of designing and fitting prosthetics and orthotics with a national company, Daniel decided he could serve the Kansas City community more effectively by starting his own practice, Cotton Orthotic and Prosthetic Associates. The company strives to provide more individualized and personal care to their patients. Daniel takes pride in providing superior care to each and every one of his patients.
Richard W. Davis served in the U.S. Marine Corps, completing two tours of duty in Afghanistan as part of Operation Enduring Freedom. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Entrepreneurship from Ashford University in San Diego, California.
Afterward, he returned to Missouri, when he started working at the Kansas City VA Hospital’s prosthetic department. It was here he found a new interest in prosthetics. In 2017, he joined Cotton Orthotic and Prosthetic Associates as a Practitioner Assistant. He became ABC-certified in Orthotics, Prosthetics, and Pedorthics as a Prosthetic Assistant in 2019.
At Cotton Orthotic and Prosthetic Associates, he educates new patients, takes impressions and measurements for prosthetic fittings, fabricates prosthetic sockets, and conducts follow-up visits and adjustments. Richard is passionate about helping each patient achieve and maintain the active and independent lifestyle they deserve.
